We floated the idea of a neighbourhood garage sale in a previous issue of the Brightwater Buzz and had some positive feedback.  We are going to try again in the new year with a new date of Saturday February 27th.  Would you like to take part?  We will provide the indicative Signs and Balloons. 

Here is a handy checklist of items you might need to get ready 🙂

• Gather items for sale and keep in one area of the garage
• Get labels/stickers and price the items – if unsure, do a quick check online to get an idea of how much to price them
• Save supermarket paper bags to offer to others purchasing your items
• Source folding tables to use on the day
• Get change from the bank for your “float” to be able to give change

We will take care of the neighbourhood signs and advertising 🙂
